Jet Set Wiily - Nintendo Wii

A remake of Jet Set Willy (JSW) for the Wii

Only one screen - more of a concept idea really.

Upload the DOL to SD card and run from your favourite homebrew loader, or upload to gecko homebrew front end with the WiiLoad.Exe app included.

Use wiimote sideways using dpad to control willy and a to jump.  press button 2 to toggle the debug info on/off.

Allows you to navigate the first screen.  Tile maps animated (light/bathroom).  Bath water makes you run backwards if stood on.   Can jump through stairs or climb by walking into it.  

Rooms to the sides of the current screen will come into view the closer you get, or get darker the further you are away.

Graphics ripped from a java version I found on the PC which lend themselves well to the Wii.  Uses GRRLIB for the graphics features.

Plays MP3 in background to give that lovely retro feel of the original music.

Recovered from a failed NAS box.  Source code available, and may take this project back up if I can re-create the dev environment as I seemed to have got quite far.
